Titus of Pompeii
Death's Apprentice: Titus was a gladiator of great muscles and a greatly minuscule mind.
Name: Titus Cornelius of Pompeii
Age: 27 years, 11 months, 2 days
Gender: Male
Cause of Death: Volcano
THE VOW OF TITUS OF POMPEII
I am a Titan of Pompeii, thee should envy me.
Putrid little men watch me fight for a fee.
Ahh and the many women I have bed.
Crowds of plebs part whereupon I tread.
For I am the mighty Titus of Pompeii.
Romans journey miles, taking many a day,
To see me in the Arena have my way.
Beast’s blood I have worn,
Mighty foes I have torn.
For I am the mighty Titus of Pompeii.
Once, Vulcan of Fire felt a God’s despair,
It was my power he wanted to share.
He did shake the ground in rage,
Vulcan roared at me from his mountain cage.
For I am the mighty Titus of Pompeii.
I mockingly taunted, with my mighty voice, Vulcan,
I showed the God he had nothing on THIS man.
I, Titus did, viciously at Vulcan, bite mine thumb.
I challenged Vulcan toward me to come.
For I am the mighty Titus of Pompeii.
Then Vulcan used his cheating godly way
To try to make Titus, on mine knees, pay.
Vulcan did cast his rancid dry ash breath,
It did cowardly cause mine untimely death.
RUN; flee tiny Vulcan- thee had best HIDE!
You had best call the God Aries to thy terrified side.
For I am the mighty Titus of Pompeii.
This ghostly Apprentice carries thy ruin,
I pomise I will see thee very, very soon.
Once upon Heaven’s battle scarred plain,
You pathetic God of Fire, I will lick thy blood and cherish thy pain.
This vow I swear, oath and pledge.
FOR I AM THE MIGHTY TITUS OF POMPEII
Author's Note: Titus is a bit of an egomaniac fool, but I am glad I managed to translate his tale. I like to think that the Apprentice took him to the Hall of the Gods and that Vulcan accepted his challenge. I wonder if every time there is a Volcano it is caused from the battles of the Mighty Titus and the God Vulcan in the Heavenly Arena- I will have to remember to ask the Apprentice when I meet them. I am working on decrypting the next entry and it is the tale of Sally Stone the Whore of Fish Avenue.
